At Noah Safaris, our goal is to provide best camera bodies, lenses, and accessories for rent across Central India’s top national parks — including Bandhavgarh, Pench, Bori, and Satpura. We want to ensure that every guests of ours enjoy a smooth rental process, do proper handling, and responsibly use our equipment for future hire guests.
For this, we have outlined important guidelines and mandatorily ask you to read these terms and conditions carefully before booking or using our equipments.
By renting with us, you agree to adhere to the following policies and guidelines for a safe, professional and careful usage.
PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR RENTAL POLICY
Valid ID
Guests must provide a valid government-issued photo ID (Passport, Aadhaar, or Driving License) at the time of booking and gear receiving. Both shared on WhatsApp/email and Physical copy for verification
Wildlife lodge/camp booking voucher – Mentioning your accommodation or stay and safaris
Booking Confirmation
All the equipments hired will be confirmed only after making full payment along with a refundable security deposit. The security amount varies with equipment type and will be refunded after inspection upon return.
Gear Inspection – Check before Hiring
Thoroughly inspect the hired equipment at the time of collection — including the lens glass, camera body, switches, buttons, battery, shutter, display screen, and accessories (such as memory cards or additional gear, if provided).
Do take a few test shots, check for dust on the sensor, and report any visible scratches, faults, or functional issues immediately before accepting the equipment from us.
Responsibility during Rental
Once the gear/equipments are handed over, it’s the guests full responsibility for care, safety, proper handling and condition of it until it’s returned.
Ensure its not given to any kid and other accomplice for use
Loss or Damage
In the event of any damage, loss, breakage, or malfunction of the equipment during the rental period, the borrower will be solely responsible for covering the full cost of repairs, replacement parts, and applicable service charges as assessed by an authorized service centre.
Proper Handling
Equipment must be handled carefully and protected from rain, dust, moisture, impact, or extreme temperatures, especially during safaris (Use cloth or towel from the lodge you stay in).
Do not keep it in the Jeep seat while on safari, instead always hold it in your lap with your hands above for safety and sudden bounce. Take photographs once the vehicle stops without losing your balance and stance
Guests are responsible for safe transportation of the gear to and from the lodge or safari vehicle.
Never change lenses in dusty or windy conditions; always use supplied caps and cleaning kits (Enquire for availability)
No Unauthorized Usage and Repair
Gear/equipment is to be used only for personal or professional photography and filming purpose within the designated national parks and cities
Use only the supplied batteries and memory cards. Do not insert external storage or accessories that may damage the equipment.
Any attempt to open, repair or modify the equipment under any circumstance is an act of breach and will be reported and charged.
Liability Waiver
Noah Safaris is not responsible for any lost photographs, videos, corrupted files or operational failures during usage. It’s important you check before hand as mentioned above.
We also don’t provide memory cards on sale at these remote locations. We encourage guests to carry external SSD cards, pen drives or have enough storage space on their laptops and mobile devices to transfer the documented data.
All gear/equipment must be returned at the agreed time and location. No late returns allowed as we have other guests to avail our services.
Cancellation
Cancellation made within 48 hours of the rental date may not be eligible for a 100 % refund. Only 50 % will be refunded in that case
Company Rights & Usage Agreement
By renting the equipment, the guest agrees to abide by all the listed terms and to compensate for any loss or damage as per the Noah Safaris assessment.
Our company reserves the right to deny rental or recall equipment at any time in case of misuse, mishandling, or breach of terms.
